Footeprints – A small town Illustration and Print Artist

im-anchored-in-nova-scotia-pillowsMegan Foote is a Nova Scotian artist by night, and a small town figure skating coach, preschool teacher and server by day.

She began drawing during the third year at Mount Allison University and has not stopped teaching herself since.

Coming from a long line of creative women, there has been a fire in her belly to be continuously create with whatever media is around at the time.


Being taught calligraphy from her mother and rug hooking from her grandmother has given her different outlooks on the creative process and allowed her to be a self taught artist.

Having a fascination with faces and portraits, she gathers inspiration from photography, everyday faces and the natural world to create a varied body of work.
